Marriage ceremonies are celebrated in diverse ways based on different cultures all around the world. It is common for Christians to have a traditional ceremony, preceding the Church wedding. However, it is sometimes asked if a couple is said to be fully married when they have fulfilled their traditional marriage without the Church marriage.
At a global service, Pastor Chris shared on the place of traditional marriages and the import of couples getting married in the Church, particularly in their local assemblies. Pastor Chris says ‘‘it is important that the Church recognizes your marriage…there is a special ceremony that should be carried out in the house of God’.’
