Acting on the mandate of the man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome to keep the bible as the number one book in the world, taking into cognizance it's reality and relevance beyond the written pages, the Teens Ministry of Christ Embassy Bowie, Maryland, USA Region 1, led by the Teens Ministry Coordinators, King Ehis Olumese and King Kinsley Aponoso, earmarked the Memorial Day celebration by visiting the only Bible Museum of its kind existing in the world situated in Washington DC.
The Bible came alive in physical form as the teens experienced first-hand, stories of the Bible in pictures, movies, and in an amazing digital presentation. The experience for them was life transforming, bringing the word of God to life in their hearts and eliciting so much excitement on their faces that will last a lifetime.
The Bible rightly said, “Train up a child in the way he should go and when he is of age, he will not depart from it (Proverbs 22:6).” Visiting the Bible Museum, gave the teens, the feel of how the land of Israel actually looked like. The several Movie Theaters, presented short but powerful videos on Bible stories and history. On this visit, the teens also had the opportunity to tell other tourists about the Rhapsody of Realities Bible and guided them to download the app into their devices.
No doubt, after the visit, the bible became more meaningful to the teens and they expressed their gratitude to Pastor Beatrice Benson, Pastor, Christ Embassy Bowie who ensured the visit to the Bible Museum was possible.
