Saturday, November 4th, was a memorable milestone for 3,553 graduates, who, after successful completion of an intensive Foundation School program, were conscripted for greater Kingdom impact, from Abuja to the ends of the earth.
It was a glowing showcase of the impact of 'Vision 400' on church growth and a foretaste of the glory ahead. Beautifully adorned in graduation gowns, the exuberant students, privileged to be the first graduating set to be inducted by the highly esteemed Reverend Tom in Abuja, trooped in with military gusto.
Inspiring testimonies and a talk show stirred everyone present with the chronicles of the graduates' extraordinary exploits as they put to work all they had learned in the course of their study. Special recognition awards were presented to the most outstanding students for excellent performance, ministry compliance and soul winning.
With 30 souls won and 10 retained already, Brother Teejay Guidjera from Christ Embassy Koruduma, who formerly a Muslim, emerged the Highest Soul Winner. Sister Anulika Evan Umegboro of Christ Embassy Durumi 2 had the best academic performance; she had also won 5 souls, one of whom was graduating with her.
The highly esteemed Regional Pastor, Reverend Tom Amenhkienan, in his charge to the graduating class, emphasized that, though a graduation ceremony, it was in the real sense a matriculation and an induction into a life of Christian service. He further exhorted and charged the graduates, saying "Let Christ be your example. Do the Word of God; build your life on the Word, and you will never fall.” With this and other vital points for a life of Christian impact, he sent them off.
