Nigeria's 57th Independence Day was celebrated in Christ Embassy Erediauwa, Benin Zone 1, in a momentous fashion, filled with inspiring ministrations in worship, comedy, dance and music ministrations and an enchanting talk show on the impact of the ReachOut Nigeria campaign through the years. The Executive Governor of Edo State, His Excellency Mr. Godwin Obaseki, read the first article in the October commemorative edition of the Rhapsody of Realities at one of the event's climactic points.
After a brief, but very inspiring, exhortation from Proverbs 11:11 on the importance of speaking positively concerning one's nation and locality, the esteemed Zonal Pastor, Pastor Moses Olayemi, led the congregants in a special prayer session for the Governor, his cabinet members and the nation, nation at large.
For many in Nigeria, the 1st of October is a day to reminisce on the good old days, asking questions as to how the nation found itself where it is today. Many complain and blame the government for the state of affairs in the country, but the ReachOut Nigeria movement highlights the hopes and advantages of the nation, presenting a different light that helps many regain their confidence in 'the pride of Africa'.
The ReachOut Nigeria movement began in 2007, championed by the man of God, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome to build and rekindle the patriotic spirit and a drive to nation-building in Nigerians.
