In response to an earlier appeal for logistics support for the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters in the FCT, on Monday, December 18, the highly esteemed Pastor of Christ Embassy Abuja, Reverend Tom Amenkhienan, hosted a delegation of top-ranking officers of the Nigeria Police, where he presented the force with office equipments — ten sets of desktop computers and ten printer/scanner/photocopiers for their administrative offices.
On the delegation were the Deputy Inspector General of Police (Operations), DIG Habila Joshak, who represented the Inspector-General, an Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Lawan Shehu, the Commissioner of Police - EOD and the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Operations) - FCT Command.
Reverend Tom brought them greetings and regards from the BLW President, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, stating that our ministry has proven her value for the Nigeria Police by continually praying for them and supporting their work. He highlighted several projects executed to help and support the Nigeria Police Force by Christ Embassy churches all around Nigeria.
Reverend Tom acknowledged the immense sacrifices of the officers and men of the Nigeria Police Force, and thanked them for doing a good job of maintaining security and order in the country. Responding, DIG Habila Joshak appreciated the huge donation of much needed office equipments, stating that in all his years of service in the Police Force, Christ Embassy has been the one ministry that the dorce is always comfortable to approach when in need, with the confidence of a favorable and timely response.
Reverend Tom thereafter invited the officers to worship with Christ Embassy Abuja, counseling that despite their busy schedules, their relationship with Christ is paramount. He prayed for the officers present, the Inspector General and the entire Police Force.
