Where does one begin, when you want to celebrate the one who selflessly, relentlessly pours out everything that’s within him. Out. Into you. Tirelessly. Onwards, upwards, forwards, guiding us toward the mark for the prize o’ the high calling of God in Christ.
There’s no doubt that Pastor Chris was sent to us, at such a time as this, teaching with such poise the word of truth that we may grow thereby unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: a prolific orator; mouthpiece of the Holy Ghost; one who’s calibre is of the most beautiful. One of honour, one of splendour.
Displaying the peculiarities of the life in Christ that we should be living partakers of His divine nature — atypical, incongruent with the lineage of fallen man. Telling us it is possible to live the God-kind of life now, the image of the Heavenly.
Now, you may feel that we have gone off on a tangent. The question was: how do you celebrate one, who has given everything and all to you. There is one place to start; by honouring him. Becoming what he’s taught us. Coming unto maturity. Saying, "Daddy look here. Just look at your sons: we used to crawl, we used to walk. No longer a 'nepios'. Now, now we can run, fly. And it’s by your leading that we’re giving lives a meaning."
