Since the year 2013, the Future Africa Leaders' Foundation, established and championed by the BLW President, Reverend (Dr.) Chris Oyakhilome, has identified and celebrated young leaders from across Africa, whose leadership potential paints the picture of a more radiant future for the continent.
Last night, ten inspiring youth leaders were honored before a global audience of millions, receiving the nod of encouragement that is bound to set them on course to achieve much more. Out of 31 outstanding nominees, the winners emerged from Botswana, Zimbabwe, Cameroon, Ghana, Malawi, Congo Brazaville, Togo, Egypt and Nigeria.
20-year-old Naomi Ekpoki Aliyu emerged the Star Prize Winner, receiving an additional $25,000 prize in addition to the $10,000 received by all ten winners.
